Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahjoub circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rudra fails to land the takedown.
Mahjoub scores with a takedown into Rudra's guard.
Mahjoub tries to free his leg and advance position but Rudra is retaining full guard.
Rudra looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mahjoub prevents Rudra from getting back to his feet.
Rudra throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mahjoub uses it to pass to side control.
Mahjoub wants to control but Rudra is keeping him busy.
An elbow from Mahjoub crashes against the mat.
Mahjoub is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rudra has escaped the position, nice work there.

Rudra wants to control but Mahjoub postures up.
Rudra is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rudra wants to improve his position but Mahjoub is controlling well.
Mahjoub is looking to advance position but Rudra won't allow it.
Rudra tries to kick Mahjoub off but Mahjoub keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rudra is breathing heavily.
Mahjoub is keen to just control but Rudra is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rudra fails in his attempt to clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rudra misses with a takedown attempt
and Mahjoub counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mahjoub wants to pass the guard but Rudra is keeping the position.
Mahjoub is in close to Rudra's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rudra throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mahjoub escapes and throws Rudra's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Mahjoub is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rudra is trying to escape and Mahjoub transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rudra is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mahjoub! Very nice indeed!
