Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omicron Perseisix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Slippin. Omicron Perseisix is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer has a takedown stuffed.
Perseisix tries for a takedown but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hammer controls Perseisix momentarily but Perseisix frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Hammer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perseisix connects with a nice short shot to Hammer's temple.

Perseisix throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hammer's waist but Hammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perseisix off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omicron Perseisix.
Well Perseisix has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
