Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Alaniz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Maximal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alaniz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Slippin. Max Maximal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maximal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alaniz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Alaniz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Maximal throws a combination. Alaniz tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Maximal!
Alaniz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Maximal scores with a one two! Alaniz had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Maximal's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Maximal duly obliges.

Alaniz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Alaniz passes Maximal's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Maximal strikes from the bottom but Alaniz passes into mount!
Alaniz is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Alaniz working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Maximal turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Alaniz off and cradles Maximal's limp body as Alaniz celebrates with his corner.
