Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marciano's entrance music is DEAD MAN'S GUN. A fine choice. Ryan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Girlfriend. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano lands a jab to the head.
Marciano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marciano feints and then cracks Ryan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ryan down.
Ryan moves out of range of the body kick.
Marciano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Marciano thuds his right hand into Ryan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ryan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Marciano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ryan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marciano has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marciano and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Marciano's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ryan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marciano scrambles back to his feet.
Ryan looks to land a left hand but Marciano moved out of range nicely.

and Ryan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ryan misses with an uppercut. Marciano saw that one coming.

Marciano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ryan moves away.
Ryan tries to work over Marciano's front leg with a kick but Marciano checks it.

Don Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ryan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marciano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ryan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A relieved looking Don Marciano thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
