The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruggiero misses with a hook. Van Den Broeck ducked under it nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ruggiero.

It looks like Vinny Ruggiero has been cut.

Ruggiero tries to throw a body punch but Van Den Broeck avoids it by throwing Ruggiero back against the cage.

Van Den Broeck pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ruggiero is out of range and Van Den Broeck settles back down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Van Den Broeck.

Vincent Van Den Broeck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Van Den Broeck counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ruggiero! He's just covering up as Van Den Broeck starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
