Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Tupper V (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Tupper V!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen tries to clinch up but Tupper V circles away and keeps his distance.

Hansen clinches up with Tupper V and pushes him back against the cage.

Hansen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tupper V is trying to keep an underhook but Hansen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hansen missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Hansen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hansen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hansen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tupper V is trying to stand back up but Hansen is controlling him
Hansen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Tupper V wants to improve his position but Hansen is controlling well.

Still in half guard, Hansen seems content to control.
Hansen is looking to take a break and control but Tupper V is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Harrison Hansen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tupper V throws a combination that misses
and Hansen counters with a nice body kick.
Hansen dodges the punch combination from Tupper V.
No joy there for Tupper V, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tupper V goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hansen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sloppy strikes from Tupper V. Those never looked like landing.

Hansen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tupper V is trying to control but Hansen passes into side control!
Tupper V managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hansen.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tupper V avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hansen.

Hansen decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Tupper V lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hansen circles away quickly and effectively.
Tupper V ducks right into an uppercut from Hansen.
Tupper V rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hansen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tupper V misses with a leg kick.
Hansen tries to clinch but Tupper V moves out of range.
Tupper V scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tupper V swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Tupper V tries to work over Hansen's front leg with a kick but Hansen checks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tupper V misses with a two punch combination.
Tupper V looks to land a combination but Hansen avoids it well.
Hansen shoots in but Tupper V avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A combination from Tupper V does no damage.
A bone on bone clash there as Hansen blocks the leg kick.
Bobby Tupper V seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hansen has a takedown stuffed.
Tupper V gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Hansen counters by clinching up.
Tupper V wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tupper V is looking to break free of the clinch but Hansen has double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Tupper V's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hansen decides to pull guard.
Tupper V trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hansen's guard.

Tupper V got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hansen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tupper V has managed to get both his arms back between Hansen's legs - danger averted.

Hansen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Tupper V is trying to stand back up but Hansen is controlling him
Hansen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hansen in particular looking to stall.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tupper V pushes Hansen off looking to stand but Hansen dives back in and keeps control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hansen is looking to pass Tupper V's guard but actually Tupper V recovers to full guard.
Tupper V keeping moving, preventing Hansen from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison Hansen dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tupper V misses with a leg kick

so Hansen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tupper V swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tupper V tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hansen throws a big elbow that misses.
Hansen wants to control from the top but Tupper V keeps moving.
Tupper V can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hansen controls the pace.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Harrison Hansen.

Hansen rushes Tupper V and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hansen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Hansen cracks Tupper V with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Hansen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tupper V has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tupper V is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Hansen trying to control the action but Tupper V is working from the bottom.

Hansen cracks Tupper V with a big right hand but Tupper V just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hansen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tupper V is pushing Hansen's head away, looking to escape. Hansen manages to hold on to the position though.

Tupper V avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hansen.
Hansen trying to control the action but Tupper V is working from the bottom.
Hansen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tupper V is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Hansen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tupper V, who protects the arm well.
Hansen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Tupper V is trying to get back to his feet.
Tupper V is not content to let Hansen control the position.
Hansen misses with the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hansen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tupper V down.

Hansen tries for a kimura but Tupper V is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison Hansen dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Tupper V throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hansen.
Tupper V scores with a nice strike.

Tupper V gets tackled into the cage by Hansen. Hansen maintains the clinch.
Hansen is leaning against Tupper V and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Tupper V has had enough of the clinch but Hansen keeps him there for the moment.
Hansen is looking to control Tupper V's arms but Tupper V gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hansen has his back to the cage.

Hansen lands a takedown into guard.
Hansen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hansen stops Tupper V from standing up.

Hansen pushes down on Tupper V's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hansen is looking to advance position but Tupper V won't allow it.
Hansen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hansen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hansen prevents Tupper V from improving his position.
Hansen wants to free his trapped foot but Tupper V is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Harrison Hansen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tupper V throws a leg kick that is checked

and Hansen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hansen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tupper V wants to hit a switch here but Hansen passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tupper V there!

Hansen scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hansen raining down shots from the mount!
Hansen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tupper V can do to turn this around?
Tupper V in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Tupper V tries to control Hansen's body but Hansen pushes him off. Tupper V squirms to his side and now Hansen has his back!
Hansen throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Hansen is punishing Tupper V with strikes - can he finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tupper V just trying to survive but Hansen is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Hansen thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Hansen has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Hansen is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Bobby Tupper V has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Hansen has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Tupper V! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hansen gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harrison Hansen!
Harrison Hansen very nearly forgot to thank Al's Supplements - 160 Q for $150 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
