Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drizzt Do Urden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Urden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Do Urden.
Lewis throws a lazy right hand but Do Urden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some wild striking there from Lewis.
Lewis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drizzt Do Urden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Do Urden darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lewis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Do Urden.
Do Urden misses the shot to the body.
Do Urden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lewis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Do Urden sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Do Urden fails with a takedown attempt.
Do Urden misses with a series of wild punches.
Good exchange - Lewis coming out on top.


It looks like Drizzt Do Urden has been cut.
Do Urden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lewis ducks under a wild hook from Do Urden.
Do Urden's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Do Urden scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Do Urden shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drizzt Do Urden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick from Do Urden lands but Lewis takes it in his stride.
A big left from Do Urden misses.
Do Urden takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lewis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lewis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Do Urden shoots in and bounces Lewis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Do Urden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Do Urden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lewis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lewis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lewis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Do Urden trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lewis can't keep his opponent in guard - Do Urden advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Do Urden tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lewis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lewis is not content to let Do Urden control the position.
Do Urden winds up and cracks Lewis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do Urden is stalling here. Lewis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Do Urden seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lewis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The strikes coming from Lewis are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lewis looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Do Urden is avoiding damage well.
Do Urden tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Do Urden is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lewis asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Do Urden is trying to work for a sweep but Lewis has mounted him!
Do Urden sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lewis trying to mount his opponent but Do Urden defends it.

Do Urden kicks off Lewis and gets to his feet.
Do Urden steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lewis.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do Urden swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lewis rushes Do Urden and presses him up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Do Urden breaks from the clinch.
Lewis throws an overhand right that lands on Do Urden's shoulder, as Do Urden tries to avoid the shot.
Lewis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Do Urden is looking to clinch but Lewis is avoiding it.
Nice uppercut lands for Lewis. That snapped Do Urden's head back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Do Urden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Do Urden moves away.
Ray Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A big left from Do Urden misses.
Lewis with a jab.
Lewis misses with a wild body shot.
Do Urden throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.
Lewis might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Do Urden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lewis's waist but Lewis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Do Urden off to one side.
Lewis throws an off balance right hand
and Do Urden connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lewis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


Do Urden is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Do Urden fails to land the takedown.
Oh Do Urden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Do Urden walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Do Urden limp body while Lewis jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ray Lewis!
Ray Lewis spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
