Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xerxes LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaVey comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Hymn of the Apocalypse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Xerxes LaVey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charlie Brown!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a nice looking combination but LaVey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
LaVey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but LaVey persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.
LaVey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LaVey off to one side.
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
LaVey takes the fight into the clinch.
Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Brown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but LaVey has him pressed against the cage.
LaVey manages to break the clinch.
LaVey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but LaVey persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xerxes LaVey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. LaVey checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LaVey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
LaVey jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brown manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LaVey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown is looking to work his way out of this bad position but LaVey is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
LaVey in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Brown is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
