Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin stuffs the takedown attempt from Hammer. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet.

Hammer tries to advance to mount but Griffin denies him.
Hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Griffin keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Griffin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hammer takes a little break here. Griffin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Hammer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Griffin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jack Hammer has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hammer throws a head kick but Griffin moves out of range.
Hammer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Griffin swivels and escapes.
Griffin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown but Griffin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
