Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ari Kantola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ari Kantola could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kelly Stevenson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantola lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Kantola throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stevenson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kantola is in Stevenson's guard.

Kantola has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kantola is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stevenson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kantola is controlling him.
Stevenson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kantola drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kantola jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kantola tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kantola has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kantola has an Americana. Stevenson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kantola is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kantola hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A very excited looking Ari Kantola rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
