Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamar Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Freak on a Leash as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Joaquin Logan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shamar Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logan.
Logan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson cracks Logan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Logan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jackson's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Logan loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.

Logan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
Logan tries to advance to mount but can't.

Logan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Logan as he avoids it easily.
Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Logan eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

A decent looking cross lands there for Logan.
