Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fjalar Ollongren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duddy comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - 'Loyal to No One'. Fjalar Ollongren has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ollongren connects with a body shot.
Fjalar Ollongren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duddy cracks Ollongren with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Duddy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Ollongren clinches up against the cage.

Ollongren has picked Duddy up - he's going for a ride! Ollongren dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Duddy wants to improve his position but Ollongren is controlling well.

Duddy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ollongren escapes and throws Duddy's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Duddy tries to improve position but can't.
Ollongren wants to stand but Duddy is controlling his arm.
Duddy is looking for a sweep.

Ollongren wants to control but Duddy is keeping him busy.

Ollongren is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duddy is just riding it out for now. Ollongren eventually gives up the hold.

Duddy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ollongren has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ollongren!

Duddy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ollongren stacks Duddy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ollongren!
Ollongren tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ollongren lands a decent elbow from side control.

Ollongren has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Duddy working to try and regain half guard.
Ollongren has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Duddy's face.
Ollongren lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Duddy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ollongren is landing with some decent strikes but Duddy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ollongren wants to control the pace but Duddy is squirming around nicely.

Duddy tries to hold on but Ollongren pushes him away.
Ollongren breaks from Duddy's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duddy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ollongren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Duddy is squirming around, avoiding Ollongren's attempts to control the action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ollongren cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like John Duddy has been cut.
Ollongren is landing with some decent strikes but Duddy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Ollongren sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Oh Duddy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ollongren postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Duddy looks a forlorn figure.

John Duddy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Ollongren! Duddy is hurt baaadly! Ollongren is firing away with more strikes - Duddy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
