Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marcos Duarte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Steel!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a leg kick but Duarte checks it.
Duarte tries to clinch but Steel is having none of it.
Steel sizes up Duarte with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Duarte throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Steel was covering up waiting for the punch and Duarte finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Duarte looking to sit in guard and control but Steel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steel tries to stand and escape but Duarte is controlling the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcos Duarte will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Steel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Duarte drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Duarte changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel tries to avoid it but Duarte manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel to the ground. Steel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Steel cracks Duarte with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Duarte tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Steel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Duarte is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
