The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mutou manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Willis on his heels. He'll look to pass Willis's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mutou works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mutou takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mutou has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Willis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mutou.
Mutou is nestled in close to Willis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Willis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mutou scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mutou content to control rather than advance.
Willis on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Mutou lands an elbow.
Mutou creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Mutou lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mutou postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Willis in real trouble here! The ref calls for Willis to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
