Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Te Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerome Te Rua is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Anderson. No joy for Te Rua on that attempt.
Te Rua takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
No luck for Te Rua with that takedown attempt.
Anderson lands a head shot.
Anderson digs a good hook to Te Rua's body.
Te Rua fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mr Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Te Rua.
Te Rua takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anderson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Te Rua stumbling backwards into the cage! Te Rua bounces back off the cage towards Anderson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Anderson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Anderson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Our winner, Mr Anderson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
