Sheen's entrance music is Winning! - Charlie Sheen. A fine choice. Williams has chosen UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Williams!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Williams throws a head kick but Sheen moves out of range.
Williams checks a leg kick.
Williams takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Williams wants to clinch.
Williams misses with a right hand
and Sheen counters with a body kick.
Williams throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sheen misses with a looping right.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A jab from Sheen does it's job there.


It looks like Simon Williams has been cut.
Sheen lands a right hook to the body.
Williams throws a leg kick
enabling Sheen to counter with a crisp jab.
Williams moves in looking to clinch but Sheen pushes him off.
Sheen's corner calls for a 1-2. Sheen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sheen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sheen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Williams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Williams connects with a leg kick. Sheen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Williams thows a leg kick but Sheen checks it
and Sheen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sheen is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sheen staying out of range there.
Williams throws out a loose jab but Sheen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sheen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sheen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Sheen.
Sheen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams digs a good hook to Sheen's body.
Sheen looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Williams slips a jab and a cross from Sheen.
Williams throws a hook to the side of Sheen's head but Sheen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Williams gets a clinch.
Williams using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sheen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Williams taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Sheen lands a good knee to the midsection. Williams won't want to take too many of those.
Williams looks winded!
Sheen lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Williams.
Sheen scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Williams prevents a body shot from Sheen.
Sheen lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Sheen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sheen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.
A big right from Sheen misses.
Sheen cracks a nice hook into Williams's ribs.
Sheen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Williams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Williams takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Williams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sheen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sheen blocks a jab.
Williams chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sheen can pounce on him.
A punch combination from Sheen misses.
Sheen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Williams is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Williams throws a chopping leg kick but Sheen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Sheen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Sheen moves out of range of the strikes.
Williams tries to clinch up but Sheen circles away and keeps his distance.
Sheen misses with a body punch
and Williams counters with a leg kick.
Sheen digs a good hook to Williams's body.
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sheen takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sheen. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sheen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sheen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sheen misses with a wild body shot.
Sheen avoids the head kick by Williams.
Williams throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sheen misses with a head kick.
Williams throws a head kick but Sheen moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams dodges the punch combination from Sheen.
Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Williams misses with a wild combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Sheen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Simon Williams's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Williams throws a lazy head kick
and Sheen counters with a good low kick that Williams was not able to check.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sheen.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Sheen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sheen is looking to wear down Williams with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sheen throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range.
Williams drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sheen thuds a left hand into Williams's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A swing and a miss from Sheen.
Sheen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sheen swinging wildly here.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Williams in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Sheen cracks Williams with an open hand slap.
Williams takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Sheen avoids a punch combination nicely.

An inside leg kick lands from Sheen.
Sheen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sheen lands a nice hook to Williams's body. Williams takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Williams misses with a looping right.
Sheen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye.
