Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tibo Asztalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has chosen POWER as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Ferguson - just one landing.
Ferguson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ferguson throws out a loose jab but Asztalos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ferguson wants to clinch but Asztalos slips to the side
and Asztalos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brock Ferguson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up with Asztalos, looking for a takedown. Ferguson pushes Asztalos against the cage but Asztalos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Asztalos tries to clinch up but Ferguson circles away and keeps his distance.

Ferguson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Asztalos at a distance.
Asztalos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ferguson shoots in looking for a takedown. Asztalos tries to sprawl out of it but Ferguson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Asztalos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Asztalos lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Brock Ferguson has been cut.
Ferguson shoots for a takedown but Asztalos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tibo Asztalos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Ferguson.
Asztalos thuds his right hand into Ferguson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Asztalos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferguson on the ground.

Asztalos is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ferguson dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferguson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Asztalos looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ferguson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Asztalos is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ferguson lets go of the hold and Asztalos can pop his arm back in it's socket.
