PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Ostrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patellar Luxation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ostrowski comes to the cage accompanied by Saw Theme - Bonecrusher ft. Lil Jon. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ostrowski throws out a loose jab but Luxation uses good head movement to avoid it.
Luxation missing with a left hand there. Ostrowski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Luxation fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ostrowski checks it well.
Luxation lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Ostrowski clinches up against the cage.

Ostrowski jumps guard and drags Luxation to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Luxation wanted to stand there but Ostrowski had control of the position.
Ostrowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ostrowski pulls Luxation in close to his closed guard and prevents Luxation from doing any damage or advancing position.
Luxation has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ostrowski is proving hard to escape from.
Ostrowski is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ostrowski shoots in but Luxation avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Luxation lands a high kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luxation throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice body kick there by Luxation.
Ostrowski throws an overhand right that lands on Luxation's shoulder, as Luxation tries to avoid the shot.
Ostrowski checks a leg kick nicely.
Luxation misses with a head kick.
Ostrowski throws a hook to the side of Luxation's head but Luxation sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Luxation connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ostrowski momentarily.
Patellar Luxation is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Luxation tries to land a front kick but Ostrowski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ostrowski takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Luxation jabs Ostrowski right on the nose. Ostrowski blinks but takes it well.
Ostrowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luxation tries to avoid it but Ostrowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luxation to the ground. Luxation escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ostrowski throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Luxation looks winded!

Ostrowski gets the takedown into side control.
Luxation is letting Ostrowski control him for a moment.
Luxation really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ostrowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Luxation is trying to get back to his feet.
Ostrowski throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ostrowski is looking to take a break and control but Luxation is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ostrowski tries for a kimura but Luxation is defending well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ostrowski is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Luxation is trying to escape and Ostrowski transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Luxation is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ostrowski! Very nice indeed!
