Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Orton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BOOM by P.O.D.. Redfield is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Shouting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Redfield on the side of the head.

Redfield with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Orton to score with a decent uppercut.

Orton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Redfield will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Redfield stuns Orton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Redfield shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Redfield in particular looking to stall.

Orton wants to control but Redfield is keeping busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Orton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Orton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Redfield swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Orton is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Redfield trying to stand up but can't free himself from Orton's guard.

Orton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Redfield is pawing at Orton, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Orton's nose. Orton is badly hurt! Redfield pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Orton tries desperately to hold on but Redfield is relentless in his assault! As Orton receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Redfield away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Redfield!
Chris Redfield was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
