Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sevent Seagull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seagull comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Van Halen - Jump kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Derek Riggs has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs throws a looping overhand right but Seagull ducks down to avoid it.
Riggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seagull was well out of range. Poor timing from Riggs.
Seagull moves in looking to clinch but Riggs pushes him off.
Riggs throws a jab but it's blocked by Seagull.
Riggs missing with a left hand there. Seagull was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Riggs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Seagull moves away.
Riggs works Seagull's body with a nice hook.
Seagull is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Seagull takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Seagull tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Riggs manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Riggs shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Seagull manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Riggs wants to pass the guard but Seagull is keeping the position.
