Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thor Okam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Turner!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okam throws a jab when Turner was well out of range.
Thor Okam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner wants to clinch.
Turner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okam.
Turner misses with a body kick.
Okam digs a good body shot into Turner's ribs.
Okam lands a nice shot to the body.
Okam avoids the head kick by Turner.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Okam, as that shot connected.
Okam throws a poor cross that misses
letting Turner counter with a right hand.
Okam lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Okam.
It looks like Randy Turner has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner misses with a head kick.
Turner throws a sloppy head kick and Okam moves out of range easily.
Turner has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Okam.
Good exchange - Okam coming out on top.
Okam's corner calls for a 1-2. Okam obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Okam scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Okam drops Turner with a huge uppercut! Turner drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Okam is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thor Okam!
