Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kriztov The Yeti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stef Jalz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Yeti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Duran Duran- Eye of the tiger. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kriztov The Yeti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stef Jalz!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Yeti fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jalz is out of range.
A head kick misses from The Yeti.
Jalz moves in looking to clinch but The Yeti pushes him off.
Jalz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jalz slips a jab and a cross from The Yeti.
Jalz connects with a body shot that sends The Yeti's belly button to the back.
The Yeti tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jalz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The Yeti gets the takedown into side control.
Jalz regains half guard.

Jalz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but The Yeti pulls his head out easily.

The Yeti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jalz defends it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jalz won't allow The Yeti to pass to mount.

The Yeti not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The Yeti scrambles and gets back to his feet.

The Yeti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jalz did well to prevent The Yeti getting side control.
The Yeti is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jalz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jalz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Yeti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Yeti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jalz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before The Yeti has time to react.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jalz enables The Yeti to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jalz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The Yeti is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Jalz tries a head kick but it misses.

The Yeti closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. The Yeti connects with a nice short shot to Jalz's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kriztov The Yeti.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Yeti, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kriztov The Yeti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
