Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kandee Dokata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pappy Roofie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kandee Dokata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pappy Roofie!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roofie misses with a looping right.
Roofie misses with a leg kick
and Dokata counters with an outside leg kick.
Roofie shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Roofie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dokata throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dokata throws the kick towards the body but Roofie avoids it.
A jab from Roofie does it's job there.
Roofie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dokata throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dokata misses with an uppercut. Roofie saw that one coming.
A bone on bone clash there as Dokata blocks the leg kick.
Roofie steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dokata. That one must have hurt.
Roofie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dokata takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dokata takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dokata takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dokata throws a front kick that sends Roofie stumbling back into the cage.
Roofie throws a hook to the side of Dokata's head but Dokata sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Roofie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Roofie throws a jab when Dokata was well out of range.
Pappy Roofie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roofie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dokata circles away.

No luck for Roofie with that takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Roofie or perhaps it was just good defense by Dokata which made him look bad.
Kandee Dokata has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pappy Roofie.

and Dokata counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Roofie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dokata to the mat! Dokata manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dokata utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dokata controls Roofie momentarily but Roofie frees himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roofie postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Roofie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dokata swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dokata is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Roofie throws a strike but Dokata rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Roofie is adopting a defensive guard.
Dokata wants to pass the guard but Roofie is keeping the position.

Roofie has momentary wrist control but Dokata slips an elbow through the middle.
Dokata postures up in Roofie's guard and throws a big left but Roofie blocks it.
Roofie has control of Dokata's left arm, preventing Dokata from doing any damage.

Pappy Roofie has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Dokata takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Roofie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dokata on his heels. He'll look to pass Dokata's guard now, I'm sure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roofie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Dokata's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Roofie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Dokata counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Roofie blocks a low kick nicely.
Roofie connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dokata has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Roofie.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roofie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dokata is trying to defend but Roofie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well Roofie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
