Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jango Fett Unleashed. Tyson Pearson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jango Fett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyson Pearson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson swings widly with a right hand
and Fett counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Fett misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Fett avoids a wild elbow strike from Pearson.
Fett cracks Pearson with a nice body shot.
Fett taking a breather.
Fett softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Fett keeps control of Pearson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fett lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fett gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Fett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fett tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pearson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Pearson tries to roll over but Fett keeps him under control.
Fett thows a huge punch but Pearson dodges it nicely.

Pearson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fett sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pearson defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pearson is trying to control but can't.

Fett is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Fett trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fett trying to control the position from guard on top but Pearson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pearson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pearson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fett postures up and lands a big shot to Pearson's brow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pearson has his foot on Fett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fett works his way back into a safe position though.
Fett throws a big right hand that misses.
Fett is pushing down on Pearson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pearson is fighting to maintain full guard but Fett has managed to sneak the leg through.
Pearson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Fett avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fett with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fett makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pearson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fett stacks Pearson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fett!

Fett gets to mount! Pearson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Fett lands a heavy elbow.

Fett is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pearson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fett cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pearson is rocked!

Pearson is still in real trouble! Can Fett finish him?
Fett cracks Pearson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jango Fett!
Jango Fett decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
