Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenrick Nikil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nikil's choice of entrance music: Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nikil is out of range and Tyson settles back down.
Nikil avoids the body shot from Tyson.
Nikil tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tyson lunges at Nikil with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nikil's hand.

It looks like Kenrick Nikil has been cut.
Nikil fails to land the takedown.
Tyson tries to bum rush Nikil with a series of wild strikes but Nikil uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nikil gets tackled into the cage by Tyson. Tyson maintains the clinch.
Tyson lands with a left to the head.
Nikil prevents a body shot from Tyson.

Tyson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Tyson trying to control the position but instead, Nikil has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tyson into the cage.
Tyson gets underhooks to prevent Nikil's takedown attempt.

Rocky Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenrick Nikil.

Tyson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nikil is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tyson to the mat. Tyson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Nikil in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Tyson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tyson wants to sweep but no luck.
Tyson is pulling down on Nikil's head. It's preventing any offense from Nikil, at least for the moment.
Nikil is in close to Tyson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Nikil postures up in Tyson's guard and throws a big left but Tyson blocks it.
Tyson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Tyson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Nikil swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Tyson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nikil tries to clinch up but Tyson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nikil to the mat! Nikil covers up and Tyson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
