Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Potkukelkka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marduk Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn has chosen Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marduk Thorn!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potkukelkka throws a low kick but Thorn moves out of range easily.
Potkukelkka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Potkukelkka shoots in and drives through. Thorn sprawls well.
Thorn is looking to slow Potkukelkka down with leg kicks.
Thorn motions for Potkukelkka to come forward. Thorn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Thorn thumps Potkukelkka with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Potkukelkka lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thorn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thorn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Potkukelkka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thorn's guard.

The referee is keeping an eye on Potkukelkka - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Potkukelkka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Potkukelkka shoots in looking for a takedown. Thorn tries to sprawl out of it but Potkukelkka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thorn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Potkukelkka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Potkukelkka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thorn.
Thorn throws a series of punches but Potkukelkka moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that James Potkukelkka will probably get the nod.

Potkukelkka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Potkukelkka postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Thorn badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Potkukelkka around the waist but Potkukelkka pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Potkukelkka is the winner by TKO! Potkukelkka jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
