Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fight Music D12. Dixon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dark Tranquillity - Iridium. Jonny Bones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Bones misses the target.
Bones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dixon sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bones steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dixon. That one must have hurt.
Some bone on bone action there as Bones checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dixon gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Joey Dixon has been cut.

Bones gets underhooks to prevent Dixon's takedown attempt.

Dixon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dixon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dixon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dixon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Dixon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bones keeps working.
Dixon is nestled in close to Bones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bones regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dixon.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dixon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dixon won't allow Bones to sweep him here.
