Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Garrett Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henry shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hudson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Garrett Hudson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hudson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hudson pushes Henry off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Henry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Henry seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hudson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Robert Henry will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hudson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Henrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hudson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Donk. Hudson catches Henry right on the button with a cross.

Henry shoots for a double leg takedown but Hudson sprawls well. He's pushed Henry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oh Henry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Henry switches off momentarily and Hudson cracks him with a monster right hand! Henry topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Hudson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Hudson!

In his post fight interview, Garrett Hudson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
