Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Azuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Newdles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azuma misses with a wild body shot.
Newdles throws a leg kick but Azuma checks it.
Azuma takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Newdles lands with a nice body punch.
Azuma checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
No joy there for Azuma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Azuma missing with a left hand there. Newdles was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Azuma comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Newdles takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Azuma swings for the body but Newdles moves out of range.
Newdles scoring well with a low kick there.
Azuma misses with a shot to the body
and Newdles counters with a thumping low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Newdles.

Newdles clinches up with Azuma and pushes him back against the ropes.
Newdles is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Newdles wants to stall.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Azuma struggles to land a body shot inside as Newdles controls his hands.
Newdles is looking to control Azuma's arms but Azuma gets an underhook and turns him. Now Newdles has his back to the ropes.

Newdles pulls Azuma into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Azuma trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Azuma accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Azuma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Newdles is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Azuma rolls with it to try and escape but Newdles cranks on the arm and Azuma is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
