PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuqua comes into the arena with Prodigy- Diesal Power blaring out of the sound system. El has chosen Spazz by Teege X Nowly as his entrance music. The key to victory for Frenchy Fuqua has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

El closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
El is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Fuqua scores with an uppercut up the middle.

It looks like Jo El has been cut.

Fuqua breaks from the clinch.
El takes a shot to the body in his stride.
El uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fuqua.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fuqua enables El to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fuqua manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
El working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Fuqua manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. El manages to get himself to full guard.
Fuqua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. El swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fuqua is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
El controls Fuqua momentarily but Fuqua frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
El is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
El takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Fuqua connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The fight stays on the outside here - El looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That has opened up Jo El's cut even more.
El checks a leg kick.
El tries to clinch but Fuqua moves out of range.

El is looking for a takedown.
Fuqua pushes El back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
Fuqua lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of El backwards.
Fuqua tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A right handed body shot lands from Fuqua.
El looks winded!
Fuqua tries to land knees in the clinch but El avoids the damage to the body.
Fuqua lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Fuqua lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

The cut above Jo El's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A frustrated look appears on El's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Fuqua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A swing and a miss from Fuqua.
Fuqua throws a leg kick which misses El's front leg but catches the back leg as El tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fuqua lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
