Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chyn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rebirth of Desire. Mickey O Neil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chyn lands with a cross.

O Neil throws a hook to the side of Chyn's head but Chyn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mickey O Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chyn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Chyn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. O Neil quickly recovers to half guard.

O Neil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chyn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Chyn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. O Neil defends it nicely.

and Chyn counters with a nice double leg into side control. O Neil won't be happy with that.
O Neil is not content to let Chyn control the position.
O Neil is trying to control Chyn's posture but Chyn avoids it.
O Neil is trying to improve his position.
Chyn cracks O Neil with a big right hand but O Neil just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Chyn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chyn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Poor strikes thrown by Chyn there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

O Neil thuds his right hand into Chyn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Chyn has hold of O Neil's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! O Neil tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Chyn cranks the arm and O Neil screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from O Neil, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A relieved looking Ryu Chyn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
