The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abieezer shoots in but no luck this time.
Shilo connects with a high kick.

It looks like Gideon Abieezer has been cut.
Abieezer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shilo as he jumps to the side.
Shilo takes a swing at Abieezer's ribcage but misses.

Abieezer feints and as Shilo raises his hands in defense, Abieezer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Abieezer wants to pass the guard but Shilo is keeping the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Shilo regains half guard there - taking advantage of Abieezer's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
