Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Hamish Gaffney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samson Miodek!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaffney misses with a two punch combination.
Miodek takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Miodek scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Miodek swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miodek doesn't manage to clinch there - Gaffney circles away.
Miodek is looking to clinch but Gaffney is avoiding it.
Gaffney rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miodek moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gaffney clobbers Miodek with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gaffney scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Samson Miodek has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good shot there by Gaffney.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gaffney.
Gaffney throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miodek tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gaffney is in Miodek's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Miodek has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaffney can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gaffney with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Miodek is rocked!
Gaffney loads up on a big left hand. Miodek felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gaffney looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Miodek can't hide his disappointment, as Gaffney celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamish Gaffney!
