Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nai Khanom Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes's entrance music is Country boy can survive. A fine choice. Khanom Tom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Round 5 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nai Khanom Tom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khanom Tom thuds a left hand into Hughes's body.
Hughes tries to land a front kick but Khanom Tom steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hughes shoots for a double leg takedown but Khanom Tom sprawls well. He's pushed Hughes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hughes is trying to ground and pound but Khanom Tom uses the momentary lack of control by Hughes to regain half guard.

Khanom Tom feints and then cracks Hughes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hughes down.
