The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo doesn't manage to clinch there - Brandao circles away.
Brandao swats away the attempt to clinch by Doo.
Doo tries to clinch but Brandao moves out of range.
Doo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brandao manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Doo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brandao is looking to regain half guard here but Doo keeps moving and retains side control.
