Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maldi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Loituma TECHNO!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackson's choice of entrance music: Wu Tang - Triumph. Rashad Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a wild body shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Maldi.
Maldi connects with a body shot that sends Jackson's belly button to the back.

Maldi lands a two punch combo.
Jackson throws a body kick that misses
and Maldi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Maldi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Maldi throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maldi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Maldi slips the punch.
Maldi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jackson's head.
Jackson slips a jab from Maldi.
Maldi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Malvin Maldi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maldi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jackson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maldi.
Maldi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jackson has his takedown stuffed
and Maldi counters by moving into the clinch.
Maldi stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Maldi scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jackson lands a body punch.
Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Maldi has Jackson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Maldi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jackson tumbling to the mat - Maldi dives into Jackson's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Maldi trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maldi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Maldi is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maldi is one step ahead there.
Maldi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jackson's head.
Maldi lands a couple of elbows.
Maldi trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Maldi looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Maldi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jackson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Maldi has tightened it up now! Jackson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
