Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abe Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sin Cara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eaton comes to the cage accompanied by The Unforgiven by Apocalyptica . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abe Eaton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sin Cara!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eaton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eaton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cara closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Eaton did well to prevent Cara getting side control.
Cara is pressing down on Eaton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Eaton is holding on for now.
Ground and pound from Cara.

Cara is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cara should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Still in half guard, Cara seems content to control.
Cara is trying to control the action in half guard but Eaton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Eaton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Eaton wants to improve his position but Cara is controlling well.
Cara drops an elbow to the side of Eaton's head.
Cara throws a strike but Eaton avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Eaton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cara is one step ahead there.
Eaton is looking to sweep but instead, Cara has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cara lands with a punch from half guard.

Eaton actively working from the bottom here.
Still in half guard, Cara seems content to control.

Cara wants to work for an arm triangle but Eaton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Eaton won't allow Cara to pass to mount.
Cara is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Cara wants to control but Eaton is keeping him busy.
Eaton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eaton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cara has eaten all the pies!
Cara seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Cara trying to control but Eaton is working from the bottom.

Sin Cara has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Eaton wants to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eaton throws a nice looking combination but Cara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cara throws a sloppy head kick and Eaton moves out of range easily.
Eaton looks for a takedown but Cara sprawls well.
Eaton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cara pinned against the cage. Cara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abe Eaton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cara shoots in and bounces Eaton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Eaton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sin Cara dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Eaton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cara throws a combination that misses
and Eaton counters with a two punch combo.

Cara has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Eaton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Eaton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cara stalling.

Cara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eaton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cara as he avoids it easily.
Eaton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cara clinches with his opponent.
Cara scores a nice knee to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Eaton lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cara is holding on to half guard well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eaton wants to take a breather but Cara is having none of it.
Eaton prevents Cara from standing back up.
Cara is doing well to control the position and prevent Eaton from advancing to side control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sin Cara wasn't active enough on the ground.

Cara shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Eaton's guard.
Cara wants to control from the top but Eaton keeps moving.
Cara is pushing down on Eaton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Eaton is fighting to maintain full guard but Cara has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eaton pushes Cara off looking to stand but Cara dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Eaton manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Cara must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Eaton has a closed guard, preventing Cara from standing up.
Eaton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cara trying to stand up but can't free himself from Eaton's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cara controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cara works over Eaton with some ground and pound from guard.
Eaton wants to sweep here but Cara controlling him for the moment.

Cara content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Eaton has locked up a guillotine! Eaton's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cara is holding on here and Eaton must be using up a lot of energy. Cara has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Eaton gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Abe Eaton!
A very excited looking Abe Eaton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
