Veli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kappa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veli is looking to stand up but Kappa isn't so interested in that idea.

Veli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kappa defends it easily.
Veli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that David Kappa will probably get the nod.

Veli might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
