Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Craig Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Clendennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The High Road. Clendennon has chosen LoFidelity Allstars - Battleflag as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Clendennon!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Clendennon
and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clendennon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Clendennon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A big left from Clendennon misses.
Clendennon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson.
Clendennon tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Anderson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Clendennon can pounce on him.

and Anderson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Clendennon's guard now.

Clendennon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Anderson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clendennon to the ground. Anderson is now in Clendennon's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clendennon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Clendennon keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Clendennon throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Clendennon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Clendennon moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.
Craig Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Craig Clendennon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Clendennon misses with a low kick as Anderson jumps back.
Anderson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Clendennon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Anderson dips to his left and cracks Clendennon with an uppercut!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
