Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Volk Khan!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a takedown attempt
and Fermazi counters with a good, hard body kick but Khan shrugs it off.
Khan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Khan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fermazi!
Fermazi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Khan's best efforts.
Fermazi tries to get to full guard but Khan has control of the leg.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fermazi is adopting a defensive guard.
Fermazi keeping moving, preventing Khan from controlling successfully.

Fermazi is trying to keep Khan in close.
Fermazi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Khan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fermazi.
Khan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fermazi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fermazi is looking for a sweep.
Khan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fermazi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Khan's guard! Nice work there by Fermazi!
Fermazi trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Khan pushes a forearm under Fermazi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fermazi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
