Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taz Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Zerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taz Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taz Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Zerra!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Jab from Zerra.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zerra as he avoids it easily.
Zerra throws a one two combo.

Zerra clinches up against the cage.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zerra darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Zerra clinches with his opponent.

Zerra breaks from the clinch.
Johnson tries to clinch but Zerra moves out of range.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Johnson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Zerra is avoiding it.
Matt Zerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zerra works Johnson's body with a nice hook.
Zerra throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A jab lands there for Zerra.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zerra lands a body shot.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zerra throws out a powerful jab.
A lazy left from Zerra finds it's target.
Zerra lands a nice shot that snaps Johnson's head back.
Zerra lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range.

Johnson is rocked!
Zerra drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Johnson right on the button. Johnson goes down! Zerra follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Zerra gets the win via TKO!
