Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramus Arthanier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthanier comes to the cage accompanied by P.O.D. - Boom. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Arthanier takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A slow jab from Turner misses its intended target.
Turner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Ramus Arthanier has been cut.
Turner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Arthanier misses with a body kick.
Arthanier swings widly with a right hand
and Turner counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Arthanier does it's job there.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Arthanier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turner moves away.

Turner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Arthanier.

Arthanier throws a leg kick but Turner sees it coming and moves out of range.
Turner throws a low kick but Arthanier avoids it.

Arthanier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Turner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Turner's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Arthanier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Turner scrambles back to his feet.
Arthanier throws a wild body kick that Turner sees coming a mile off.
Turner scores with a body shot.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arthanier moves away.
Arthanier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Arthanier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Turner lands a nice looking body kick.
Arthanier moves out of range of the leg kick from Turner.
Turner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Turner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Arthanier's sensitive parts.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Arthanier moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Arthanier lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Arthanier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Turner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arthanier.
Turner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Turner thuds his right hand into Arthanier's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Turner lands a nice looking kick to the body. Arthanier takes a step back to recover.
Ramus Arthanier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arthanier throws a jab when Turner was well out of range.

Turner tried to score with a low kick but Arthanier checks it.

Turner throws the left hand but Arthanier avoids the punch easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Arthanier.

and Arthanier counters with a low kick, right behind Turner 's knee.
Turner cracks Arthanier with a good jab.
Arthanier fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Arthanier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Arthanier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

It looks like Randy Turner has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turner throws a big shot that misses.
Turner feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Arthanier's calf.
Arthanier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Turner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Arthanier's head.
Turner takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Turner is rocked!
Arthanier flashes Turner a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Turner's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Turner crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Arthanier punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ramus Arthanier!
In his post fight interview, Ramus Arthanier started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
