Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ka Bann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Caradagian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caradagian is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Martin Caradagian Song. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Caradagian!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bann catches Caradagian with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bann feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Caradagian's calf.
Caradagian chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bann can pounce on him.
Bann with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Caradagian with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bann counters with a stiff right hand.
Caradagian shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Bann holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bann breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Bann.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bann, right into the meat.
Caradagian checks a leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Caradagian.
Ka Bann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Caradagian.
Bann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That kick from Bann tenderised Caradagian's leg. Caradagian is trying to keep his angry face on.
Caradagian on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bann. Bann obviously looking to wear him down.

Caradagian on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bann lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bann uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Caradagian has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bann lands with a nice combination. Caradagian backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Martin Caradagian has been cut.

Ka Bann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bann lands a jab to the head.
Caradagian has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bann.
Bann moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bann throws a series of punches but Caradagian moves out of range.
Caradagian takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Caradagian closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bann quickly recovers to half guard.
Caradagian tries to pass to full mount but Bann defends it.
Bann looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bann on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bann tries to get out of the position.
Caradagian lands with a punch from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caradagian sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bann defending well though.
Caradagian takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Caradagian looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bann with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Caradagian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Caradagian thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bann's head.

Caradagian is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bann is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
