Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tad Unhinged (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tad Unhinged is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ric Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tad Unhinged!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unhinged looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flores is fending him off so far but Unhinged persists. Nope, Flores circles away and we're back to standing.
Unhinged fails to land the takedown.

Flores drives through with a takedown into Unhinged's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Unhinged working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Flores.
Flores tries to stand but Unhinged is controlling from the bottom.

Unhinged throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Flores is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Flores is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Flores is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flores advances position into side control!
Flores lands a nice forearm strike.
Unhinged defending against the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Flores decides to stand back up.
Flores throws a combination. Unhinged tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Tad Unhinged has been cut.
Flores fails to land with a series of punches.
Flores lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Flores connects with a right hand. Unhinged shakes it off.


Unhinged is rocked!
Flores misses with a double jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Unhinged closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flores's guard.
Flores can't keep his opponent in guard - Unhinged advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Unhinged trying to control from half guard but Flores is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Flores manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Flores has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Unhinged off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Flores rushes Unhinged and presses him up against the cage.
Unhinged tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Flores just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ric Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tad Unhinged.
Flores has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Flores is trying to break the clinch but Unhinged has him pressed against the cage.
Flores wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Unhinged has him pressed against the cage.
Unhinged changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flores fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Flores gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Flores tries to break free but Unhinged pushes him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Unhinged avoids the elbow strike from Flores, against the cage.
Flores stalling the fight.

Unhinged is fighting off a takedown attempt but Flores is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Unhinged to the mat. Unhinged regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Flores distracts Unhinged with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Flores wants to stand but Unhinged is controlling his posture from full guard.
Unhinged lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Flores!
Flores is breathing heavily.
Flores is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Unhinged get's back to his feet.
Flores misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Flores slaps away a takedown attempt from Unhinged, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Flores fails to land with a series of punches.

Flores forces Unhinged back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Unhinged has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Flores is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Flores tries to break free but Unhinged pushes him back against the cage.

Unhinged has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Flores clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Unhinged looking for the choke from the back.
Flores trying to control the hands but Unhinged won't let him.
Flores has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Unhinged has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Flores! Can he survive? No! He's out! Unhinged gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tad Unhinged!
