Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Carnitine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnitine misses with an uppercut. Kowalski saw that one coming.
Kowalski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carnitine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Carnitine avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Carnitine throws a hook but Kowalski blocks it.

Carnitine shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Carnitine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kowalski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kowalski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carnitine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kowalski tries to kick Carnitine off but Carnitine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carnitine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Carnitine takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kowalski gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Carnitine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kowalski smiles and moves away.
Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carnitine swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kowalski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carnitine backs up against the cage.

Carnitine feints and as Kowalski raises his hands in defense, Carnitine changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carnitine trying to control the position from guard on top but Kowalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kowalski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Carnitine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kowalski wants to get back to his feet but Carnitine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Carnitine throws an elbow that misses. Kowalski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Carnitine's guard. Nice move by Kowalski!

Carnitine pushes a forearm under Kowalski's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kowalski is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
