Joe comes to the cage accompanied by (Ugly kid joe) Everything about you. A J Hearts has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kid Joe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kid Joe!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, A J Hearts!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe lands with a right hand.
Hearts misses with a wild body shot.
Kid Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joe misses with a hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Joe.
Hearts ducks under a wild hook from Joe.
Joe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hearts lands a head shot.


It looks like Kid Joe has been cut.
Hearts throws an overhand right that lands on Joe's shoulder, as Joe tries to avoid the shot.
Hearts uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Joe just misses with a punch to the body.
Hearts tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Joe counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hearts pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joe feints and then cracks Hearts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hearts down.
Joe catches Hearts with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe misses with a wild body shot.
Joe throws a leg kick
and Hearts counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Joe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hearts ducks under a wild hook from Joe.
Hearts throws a leg kick but Joe checks it.
Hearts with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Joe checks the leg kick.

Hearts closes the distance and pushes Joe back into the cage.
Hearts stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Joe throws a punch but it's blocked by Hearts.
Hearts is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hearts.
Joe working aggressively here.
Joe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hearts lands a body shot in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
A short right from Hearts.
Joe misses with a body punch.
Joe misses with some punches.
Joe goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Joe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hearts lands a right hand.
Hearts looking to stall.
Hearts lands a hook that snaps the head of Joe backwards.
Hearts is leaning against Joe and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Joe is breathing heavily.
Hearts softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hearts stalling the fight.
Joe swings wildly with an uppercut but Hearts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hearts lands a left hand.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hearts.


Joe is rocked!
Hearts is trying to drag Joe to the mat but Joe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hearts creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Joe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hearts stalling.
Joe seems to have got his legs back now.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hearts.
Hearts lands a hook that snaps the head of Joe backwards.
Joe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hearts gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hearts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Joe wants to stand and escape but Hearts is having none of it.
Joe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hearts slips nicely into half guard.
Joe trying to control from the bottom.
Hearts uses his free foot to push down on Joe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Joe.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hearts avoids the attempt from Joe to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Joe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hearts lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Joe hang on?


Kid Joe's cut is getting worse.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hearts! Joe is hurt baaadly! Hearts is firing away with more strikes - Joe is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). A J Hearts! A J Hearts retains his light heavyweight title!
A J Hearts decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
