Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon McKinnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miso Honie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKinnon throws a jab when Honie was well out of range.
Honie moves away from the strike by McKinnon.
McKinnon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
McKinnon lands a lovely overhand right.
Honie tries a low kick but McKinnon avoids it.
Honie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McKinnon misses with a looping right.
McKinnon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Honie has time to react.
McKinnon scores with a jab. Honie acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Honie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McKinnon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Honie throws a chopping leg kick but McKinnon manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Honie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Honie lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Honie throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Honie landing strikes.
McKinnon tries to buck Honie off but Honie is having none of it.
Honie grinds an elbow into McKinnon's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Honie is working McKinnon over with some ground and pound from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Honie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear McKinnon down.
Honie scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McKinnon to see if he's OK.
Honie is chipping away with strikes.
Honie cracks McKinnon with a big right hand but McKinnon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
A big shot lands for Honie! That's hurt McKinnon! Will he recover? Honie fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
