The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dashboard tries to land a leg kick but Gage saw it coming and moves away.

Gage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gage wants to hit a switch here but Dashboard passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gage there!
Dashboard is stalling here but it's allowed Gage to get half guard.

The ground and pound from Dashboard seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Dashboard lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gage down.

Dashboard has hold of Gage's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gage tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dashboard cranks the arm and Gage screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gage, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
