PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgi Todorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putin comes to the cage accompanied by Ruudolf - Leijonakuningaslaulu. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin throws a head kick that misses.
Todorov shoots in looking for a takedown but Putin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Todorov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Putin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Todorov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Putin.
Some bone on bone action there as Todorov checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Todorov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Todorov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Putin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Todorov somewhat.
Putin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Todorov moves away.

Todorov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Putin on his heels. He'll look to pass Putin's guard now, I'm sure.
