Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Thompson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stone scores with a nice head shot.
Chris Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.
Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thompson.
A big right from Thompson misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stone.
Stone lands a nice looking body kick.
Thompson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thompson somewhat.
Stone throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thompson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stone's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thompson.
Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stone throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stone is looking to stand up but Thompson isn't so interested in that idea.
Thompson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stone isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Thompson stacks Stone on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Thompson!

Stone's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Stone is squirming around, avoiding Thompson's attempts to control the action.
Stone is working to get back to half guard.
Thompson has hold of Stone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Thompson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stone to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stone shrugs it off.
Stone is looking to improve his position but Thompson isn't that keen on the idea.
Stone slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Stone wants to control but Thompson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Thompson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thompson stops Stone from getting back to his feet.

Thompson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thompson has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted.

John Thompson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
